Horse Sense for Grades 5-8
Horse Sense offers a unique and unforgettable camp experience serving middle school children from New London and Norwich entering grades 5-8. This camp differs from all other High Hopes summer camp experiences in that targets at-risk youth populations, provides transportation and focuses on community and self development rather than horseback riding skills. The four day camp includes daily interaction with our horses as well as team-building and communication activities to increase self confidence, responsibility and leadership potential in a population who may otherwise never experience the magic of a horse.
Horse Sense is offered Monday through Thursday from 9am – 1pm on the following dates:
Cost is $250 per participant and scholarship applications are available upon request. Transportation will be provided to and from specified pick-up/drop-off locations. For an application packet CLICK HERE or For more information please contact Laura Moya at (860) 434-1974 ext. 118 or lmoya@highhopestr.org.
