Please join High Hopes for a night of dinner and dancing during an inspirational and elegant evening to benefit High Hopes’ programs and participants.

High Hopes offers opportunities for skill building and achievement to individuals of all ages who face a multitude of challenges each day.

 

The challenges faced by our participants include: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, visual & hearing impairments, emotional & behavior disorders, developmental & intellectual delays, traumatic brain injuries & spinal cord injuries.

The mission of High Hopes is to improve the lives of people with cognitive, physical & emotional disabilities through the benefits of therapeutic horseback riding & other equine assisted activities, while serving the therapeutic riding profession through training & education.

More than 630 volunteers donate over 28,800 hours of their time. Participants range in age from 4 to 86 years & come from 74 towns throughout Connecticut.

High Hopes serves the school districts of New London, Haddam-Killingworth, East Lyme & Lyme/Old Lyme, Essex and Deep River. These groups represent 21% of all participants. High Hopes works with many of the group homes & day programs in our community including Boys & Girls Village, VISTA, Brian House, Inc, SARAH, Inc, Connecticut Juvenile Training Center, Clinton Harbor, Rushford Academy, LEARN, Connecticut Valley Hospital & Albert J. Solnit Center.

High Hopes expects to draw 600 to 650 supporters for an evening of great music, delicious food & unique offerings.  Money raised at this event provides 20% of High Hopes annual operating Income.
