Prospective Camp Applications

Application forms are required on an annual basis. Medical forms are valid for three years.

Dear High Hopes Riders, Parents and Friends:

Each summer High Hopes is pleased to offer four unique sessions of an inclusive summer camp.  The sessions are designed to meet the needs of our campers’ ages and riding skill levels.  These diverse equine and education activities for children and youth are conducted by PATH Intl. certified therapeutic riding instructors.

Campers will enjoy a summer experience they will never forget making new friends, learning new skills and having fun the great outdoors at our 120 acre facility with miles of trails and our herd of 25 horses and ponies.

Daily riding lessons
Gymnastics on horseback
Carriage Driving
Daily grooming and tacking
Arts and Crafts
Team building
Games & activities

High Hopes Summer Camp is licensed through the State of Connecticut and requires Parents/Guardians requesting medication administration to their child during camp hours to provide appropriate written authorization(s) and the medication to be administered. (THIS INCLUDES EPI-PENS, INHALERS, ORAL AND TOPICAL MEDS)

Cancellation Policy
Camp sessions are prepaid and secure your camper’s placement in your desired week of camp. The payment for a camp session must be made in full at least one month prior to camp. If a camper cancels, their tuition minus a $50 processing fee will be returned only if another camper fills the spot.


Scholarship Applications
Applications must be submitted with a completed summer camp application form by June, 2017.

Scholarship applications will be reviewed and awards, if any, will be made by June, 2017.

Deadline for applications is June, 2017

Applications must be received with full payment in order to reserve your child’s placement.  Participant applications will be reviewed and selected while upholding the spirit of our integrated approach.  Confirmation letters will be mailed after June 20th.  A wait list is maintained in the event of cancellations.
