Volunteer Training

Winter Sessions ahead!  Our fall volunteer sessions are winding down and Winter Volunteer Training will begin in January. We have several General Orientation Sessions and Advanced Training Classes planned.  The Advanced Training Classes are in both sidewalking and horse handling.  We hope you join our team!

New Volunteer General Orientation and Advanced Training Classes

January 2017 Training Dates/Times:

General Orientation: January 12th   3:30PM – 7:00PM

Sidewalker Training: January 19th   4:00PM – 6:30 PM

Horse Leader Training: January 24th    4:00PM – 6:30 PM


February 2017 Training Dates/Times:

General Orientation: February 8th    5:30 PM – 7:00 PM

Sidewalker 1 Training: February 16th  4:00 PM – 6:15 PM

Horse Handler 1 Training: February 21st   4:00 PM – 6:30 PM


March 2017 Training Dates/Times:

General Orientation:  March 9th   5:30 PM – 7:00 PM

Training sessions are conducted rain or shine. Please wear sturdy footwear and barn appropriate clothing.
