High Hopes Therapeutic Riding Inc. in Old Lyme, CT seeks an individual with strong communication and organizational skills for a Lesson Manager position.
Successful candidates will have at least five years of experience in Therapeutic Horsemanship, hold a Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship, International (PATH Intl’l) Advanced Instructor Certification, PATH Int’l Mentor and Evaluator training, and a degree in a related field. Successful candidates will possess strong instructional, equine and volunteer management skills, planning and scheduling skills, problem-solving ability and be a team player. The position will involve teaching therapeutic riding lessons of up to eight riders, instructional/barn support, and administrative program support duties. Additional PATH Int’l Certifications or specialties are a plus.
Founded in 1974, High Hopes is a PATH Intl’l Premier Accredited Center which serves over 240 children and adults with disabilities each week. Staff members are integral to a team that works cohesively to provide the highest quality programs for participants and instructor candidates from all over the world in its PATH Intl’l Approved Instructor Training Course. The Lesson Manager reports to the Program Director.
