Where did you work before High Hopes?
I reached High Hopes through a long and, well, convoluted path. My prior experience with horses was limited to cleaning stalls at UNH for a semester my freshman year. Since those days, I have managed to always incorporate my love for technology and computers into my work and that is what led me to High Hopes.
Please describe two or three (max. five) different things you love about High Hopes.
What I love about High Hopes (aside from the horses, I mean, who doesn’t love the horses?) is that I feel like we are really a team working toward a common goal. Working for a non-profit is a refreshing change from working in the profit world. The mission is more than a piece of paper and we are all working in our unique way to fulfill that mission. Another thing I love about High Hopes is the grounds. I almost always take the ‘long’ way into the office, walking by the paddocks and the arena so I can look across the fields at the horses and sheds, smell the scent of the paddocks and the forest and just appreciate the beauty of the location. |

Brief description of your life outside of High Hopes
When I’m not at High Hopes I spend my time caring for my family, volunteering with the PTO at my children’s school and making things out of wool. I am also learning to ride, something I’ve always wanted to do. |
