Lily began her journey at High Hopes at 14, volunteering in summer camp and program as a sidewalker, leader, and barn helper. She was so inspired by the sense of community and relationship between the animals, staff, participants, and volunteers that she decided to pursue it as a career! She interned at High Hopes’ summer camp in summer of 2019 and joined as an instructor in spring of 2022.

She studied Equine Studies at the University of New Hampshire and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Equine Science through the University of Edinburgh. She became certified as a PATH registered level CTRI during her time at UNH and has since obtained her Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning certification as well.

In her free time Lily enjoys hiking, kayaking, or anything outdoors!
