High Hopes is hosting an Equine First Aid Certification on Saturday, June 22nd and Sunday, June 23rd.

Open to the public and a portion of the proceeds will benefit High Hopes Therapeutic Riding Center.

You may sign up for JUST the Standard, OR both classes at a discounted rate. The Standard is the pre-requisite for the Advanced.

Saturday June 22, 2024 9am-4:30pm (Standard)

This is a one-day hands-on course with horses covering: what your vet needs to know when you call, conditioning a horse to accept treatment, tracking property vital signs, dealing with lacerations, punctures, colic, choke, collapse, casting, shocks, hoof issues, recognizing pain in the horse, sources of pain and alleviation, spinal health, injury prevention and much more!

Sunday June 23, 2024 9am-4:30pm (Advanced Wilderness)

Plan, prepare, react to any emergency! Joins us for a one-day highly advanced equine emergency first aid course and learn what to do in more extreme situations!

The cost for the weekend is $275. An entire TWO-DAY clinic with meals included for $275!
