Understanding the Horse Part 2

Discover – Learn – Connect

Join us to explore the special bond between horses and humans. In four, 2-hour sessions, you will have the opportunity to experience liberty work, learn handling techniques based in natural horsemanship, discover what motivates the horse, and practice desensitization techniques for horses in the therapeutic field.

Part 2

For those who completed “Understanding the Horse Phase 1” in a prior year, or who have horse experience and want to keep learning.

  • Options

    We are holding two "understand the horse" sessions this winter. Please choose the most appropriate for your level of horsemanship.
  • For adults with limited horse experience who want to learn more! Monday/Wednesday 4:00 - 6:00pm January 8th, 10th, 15th, 17th. - $200 program fee
  • For those who did Understanding the Horse in a prior year, or have horse experience and want to keep learning. Tuesday/Thursday 11:00am - 1:00pm - $200 program fee

High Hopes takes the privacy of our participants, their families, volunteers, visitors and staff seriously, but at the same time, we value the use of real images in the promotional and reporting activities which enable us to provide subsidized therapeutic activities.

If you are a participant in one of our programs, you or your guardian will be asked to review, consider and decide whether to grant permission for us to use your photograph.

Training, Education or Social Activities

By engaging in training & education or social activities at High Hopes Therapeutic Riding Inc. I understand that I  may be photographed, filmed, or videotaped and I hereby give High Hopes Therapeutic Riding, Inc. the unqualified right to take pictures and/or recordings of me and grant the perpetual right to use that likeness, video, image, photo (collectively, “image”), without compensation, for broadcast or exhibition in any medium and to put the finished pictures/recordings to any legitimate use without limitation or reservation. I hereby waive, release and forever discharge High Hopes Therapeutic Riding, Inc. from and against any and all claims or actions arising out of or resulting from any use of your image.
