High Hopes invites children of veterans and service members in our community to join us for a 1-day intensive horsemanship program designed just for military children. This program will include opportunities to bond with and learn about horses, drive a horse-drawn carriage, and become part of a community of children and young adults with similar experiences. Working with our horses helps children of veterans develop their emotional intelligence and resilience and develop trust in others, which will transfer to home and school.
The true cost of this program has been underwritten by the Thompson Family Foundation – thank you!
Our programs for Youth-at-Risk are also supported by Eversource Energy and our Horses & Healing programs are supported by Dominion Energy.
