Where did you work before High Hopes?
Armed with a degree in Business Management, as a young adult I traversed the country holding multiple jobs…Import/Export Manager for a San Francisco shipping company, Para-loan Officer at New Haven-based Connecticut Bank and Trust and Executive Assistant to the Editor of USA Today. I finally settled in Bethesda, Maryland for 25 years where I raised my twin boys, volunteered at numerous organizations and worked part-time at Gonzaga College High School’s Bookstore.
Please describe two or three (max. five) different things you love about High Hopes.
Admittedly the least “horsey” staff member, I started my journey here at High Hopes volunteering both as a side walker and as an office volunteer before joining the High Hopes staff in November 2015. Ultimately I fell in love with High Hopes… its facility, participants and most importantly its mission.
Brief description of your life outside of High Hopes
Outside of High Hopes, my past times include traveling, walking the beach, and most favorite of all, spending time with my two sons, their wives and my granddaughter, Maria.
