The Need Never Stops

Thanks to donors like you, a young participant named Grace was able to attend multiple summer camp sessions free of charge through our tuition assistance program. Her mom, Carrie, shared how grateful she is for High Hopes and the difference it has made for their family. Reflecting on their summer, Carrie said:

The ability to attend camp allowed for continuity in Grace’s – and our family’s – schedule through the summer, and kept her surroundings consistent. Grace had a wonderful time making new friends, experiencing the horse-human connection, and building skills that will support her in the upcoming school year.

Like many families at High Hopes, Grace receives care from multiple health professionals. With the growing demand for mental health services and many providers not accepting insurance, families like Grace’s often face significant out-of-pocket costs.

it takes all of us

The work continues

Last year, we served on average 72 participants each week. Thanks to the growth of our herd and the dedication of our team, that number has grown significantly — now reaching 106 participants each week across riding, unmounted, and specialty programs.

This growth isn’t about filling spots; it’s about meeting real needs. Every new horse and every additional session means more individuals gaining confidence, connection, and joy through the power of horses.

But a bigger herd means bigger costs: hay and feed, veterinary care, training, and more. Each horse brings hope to more people and it’s only possible with your continued support.

Equine-Assisted Services for those who need it most.

High Hopes subsidizes 80% of the cost of services for our participants. It’s the only way we can ensure that families who need us the most don’t get turned away. Your donation could make all the difference in the life of a child or adult who relies on our services for critical physical, emotional, or cognitive support.

Your gift will allow these essential services to continue to grow, bringing new friends into the fold, and maintaining the thriving community our current participants love.
