Lesley Olsen

Lesley’s first experience with horses was as a child taking lessons and going to New York to a camp for riding. Later in life she watched her two daughters experience all the benefits of having lasting relationships with their horses and fellow equestrians. She enjoyed seeing them come home tired, dirty, with big smiles and a sense of accomplishment. The barn was their second home.

Lesley started working at High Hopes in 2017 as Finance Director. Her knowledge of nonprofit management began at The Nature Conservancy as a land protection specialist and the Director of the Land Trust Service Bureau. Her business knowledge comes from owning and managing a small manufacturing company. Her love of nature, horses, and philanthropy are ever present through her work at High Hopes.
