Saige has been a lifelong horse lover, spending her early years competing in disciplines ranging from barrel racing to jumpers and volunteering at therapeutic riding centers beginning in 2012. While she spent countless hours in the saddle, she always sensed that horses offered something deeper—an ability to support healing, connection, and emotional well-being.
Driven by her passion for equine-assisted services, Saige pursued a degree in psychology and graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2023. After graduation, she set out on an adventure across the country—traveling as far as Alaska in a self-converted bus—before ultimately returning to Connecticut, believing there truly is “no place like home.” Her love for both horses and people led her to join the High Hopes team in 2026 as Program Coordinator.
Outside of work, Saige enjoys trail riding along the Salmon River, tending her garden in the summer, baking bread in the evenings, and spending Sundays at church. She cherishes time with her family and dogs and hopes one day to have a farm of her own.
