Shiloh is a soon to be graduate from Eastern Connecticut State University. Her degree will be in psychological science with a concentration in mental health counseling. Shiloh plans to continue her education and become a licensed psychologist. She realizes traditional office therapy doesn’t appeal to or work for everyone. Working with animals and music throughout her life, she has witnessed firsthand the healing they offer. She plans to include both in opening her own practice incorporating nontraditional therapies. Some of her work at High Hopes includes assisting with equine assisted learning, youth empowerment, the resilience reins research program, and putting together research-based evidence of the effects working with horses have on enhancing mental health.
