Meet Judith, our October 2025 Participant Spotlight!
Judith’s journey with High Hopes began more than 15 years ago as a participant, and soon after, she became a volunteer as well. When asked what she loves most about High Hopes, her answer is simple: “Horses, horses, horses.” Of course, she adds, the people are just as kind and accepting as the herd she’s come to know so well.
Over the years, Judith has built a special bond with many horses, but her current partner is Ritzie, whom she describes as patient, good-hearted, and a friend to all.
Beyond her time in the barn, Judith shares her many talents with our community. You may have admired her creative artwork in our newsletters, smiled at her whimsical horse drawings on the whiteboard in our entryway, or read her thoughtful writing in our publications.
Judith embodies the spirit of High Hopes: compassionate, creative, and deeply connected to both people and horses. We are so grateful for her lasting contributions and for the warmth she brings every week.
