Chris joined High Hopes in 2023 as the Volunteer Coordinator and stepped into the role of Volunteer Manager in 2025. Chris has had a lifelong passion for horses which led her to attend the University of Connecticut, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Resource Economics, and minored in both Equine Business Management, and Business Management and Marketing.
After working in several barns of various disciplines from Florida to New York, Chris realized she could share her love of horses with others outside of the competition, training, and breeding realms. Since settling in Connecticut with her husband, Brendan, Chris has found her way to High Hopes, where she loves being able to contribute to the life-changing work done here.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys music, reading, hiking, photography, and trying new sports.
