Kadin serves as Caretaker and Farm Assistant at High Hopes, where he spends much of his time caring for the horses, maintaining the farm, and helping ensure the property remains a safe and welcoming environment for both people and animals. Known for his calm demeanor and natural connection with horses, Kadin has a way of earning the trust of even the most observant herd members. Around the paddocks, it often seems as though the horses consider him one of their own.
Originally from Alaska, Kadin grew up on a remote farm where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for self-sufficiency, land stewardship, and hands-on craftsmanship. Having also lived in Texas and Washington, he brings a broad range of experiences and practical skills to his work, including an extensive background in woodworking and farm maintenance.
Kadin takes pride in caring for both the horses and the land that supports them, bringing patience, reliability, and a thoughtful approach to every project. When he’s not tackling a new task around the farm, he enjoys quiet days spent listening to the rain, exploring new places, and enjoying a good home-cooked meal.
