Megan Ellis

Megan joined the High Hopes team as Volunteer Manager in 2011, then transitioned to the role of Program Director. In 2019, Megan stepped down from her role as Program Director to pursue a career as a technical writer for a local software company, but luckily for High Hopes she stayed on as a part-time instructor and Salesforce Administrator! Megan holds two Bachelors degrees from Wake Forest University and St. Andrews University and spent ten years serving in the military (active duty Army for six years and Army National Guard for four years) before joining hte team.

Megan is an Advanced level Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor, Instructor Mentor, and a Registered Evaluator. She currently resides in Salem with her horse, dog and cat.
