Hayley joined the High Hopes team as Volunteer Outreach & Training Manager in 2022, and transitioned to Program Manager in 2024. She believes in the power of horses and their ability to heal through energy, which ignited her interest in seeking a career in Equine Assisted Services. Hayley has been riding since the age of four and never plans to stop!

She spent most of her childhood in The Netherlands, and returned to the US to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Television/Radio and a minor in Communications, Management & Design at Ithaca College. After working several desk jobs, she decided to turn her hobby into a career and managed a horse barn, taught lessons, and trained young horses. Working at High Hopes has given her the opportunity to combine her horse knowledge and passion into a career that makes a true difference.

Hayley enjoys warm weather, boating, and exploring local hiking trails. She lives in East Haddam with her fiancé, James, and their animals!

Hayley is a Registered Level Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor.
