Molly is a beautiful, happy, funny nine-year-old. She came to High Hopes when she was four through our IMMERSION program – a collaboration with the Yale NewHaven L+M Hospital. She had a diagnosis of Chromosomal Deletion and also Autism. Molly was non-verbal, Petra helped her talk!

IMMERSION program is a collaboration between the Yale NewHaven L+M Hospital in New London, and High Hopes. This multi-disciplinary program brings together speech and language therapists, occupational and physical therapists, and therapeutic riding instructors, using the power of the horse-human connection to help children with a range of sensory disabilities including those on the autism spectrum, and those who are non-verbal.
