Planned Giving

Planned gifts are a meaningful way to give because they will help ensure the future of High Hopes for generations to come while providing you or your estate with significant tax benefits. There are many ways to make a planned gift. The easiest and most common is to simply make a bequest to High Hopes in your will.

Ways to Give

We suggest that you talk to your financial advisor, attorney or accountant about other ways to make a planned gift and to determine which might be best for you. You are also invited to discuss your planned giving needs with a member of High Hopes’ Planned Giving Advisory Council.

To find out more about planned gifts or set up an appointment to discuss some of the plans that might be best for your circumstances, please call Sara Qua, Development Director, at  or (860) 434-1974 x122.

Legacy Society

The Legacy Society offers an opportunity to perpetuate your interest in High Hopes for generations to come.

People who have made a planned gift become members of the High Hopes Legacy Society and are recognized by having their names included on a permanent plaque at High Hopes, in the Legacy Garden near Hartman Pond, in the Annual Report, and by a special name tag to wear at High Hopes events.

You will be invited to a gathering of members each year, and will receive regular mailings.  There can also be significant tax benefits for you or your estate.   Best of all, your membership in the Legacy Society will help us to continue serving people with disabilities into the future.
