Therapeutic Riding Instructor

Friends For Tomorrow is looking for a PATH Int’l Certified and Massachusetts Licensed riding instructor to join our small, family oriented therapeutic horseback riding program in Lincoln, MA.

This position begins in February. All lessons are one-on-one. This position could also be expanded to include light riding and minimal barn work.

We are seeking candidates with excellent teaching skills; a team-player attitude, volunteer management skills and solid horsemanship with English riding skills.

Requirements include:
– PATH Intl. Certification
– Massachusetts Riding License
– First-Aid and CPR Certified
– Previous experience in teaching therapeutic riding preferable, but not required.
– Self-starting, organized and have strong interpersonal communication skills.

UpReach Therapeutic Equestrian Center, Inc.

Part Time Instructor/Barn staff

UpReach Therapeutic Equestrian Center provides therapeutic riding, therapeutic carriage driving, hippotherapy, equine facilitated mental health and equine assisted learning year round to 90-120 individuals. Due to the expansion of programming, we are interested in hiring a part time PATH Intl. certified riding instructor to work 15-20 hours weekly, teaching 6-8 lessons and assisting with the barn and herd 10-12 hours. We are currently looking for a full-time Director of Program Quality to lead our instructional team, student recruitment and all programming for more than 1,300 students annually. This high-level position plays a critical role in the success of Fieldstone’s mission. PATH Intl. certifications in therapeutic riding and mental health and learning (ESMHL) are preferred. Large horse farm In Temple NH looking to hire a full time Barn Manager. Responsibilities include but not limited to staff scheduling and willing to step in when needed, oversight of staff care for horses, ordering supplies for horse care and staff. Must be physically fit enough to work in barn of 40+ horses.  Strong background in horse care cleaning through first aid a must. Also, need strong leadership qualities. 18 plus, valid license and criminal background check required.

Registered Riding Instructor

4.Required: High School Diploma
5.Preferred: One year experience in the field of equine-assisted activities.
6.Preferred: One year experience teaching horseback riding skills to able bodied riders.

Instructs equine-assisted sessions and un-mounted program activities in a safe, professional manner. Develops rider goals and weekly objectives and documents weekly progress for each rider. Submits written evaluation on each participant at the end of each semester. Adheres to Manes & Motions policies and PATH standards at all times. Attends and participates in staff meetings, program functions and training’s. Represents the program in a positive and professional manner at all times. Part Time Therapeutic Riding Instructor

HorseAbility, a Therapeutic Riding program, Hippotherapy program and one week summer day camp in Old Westbury, New York is seeking therapeutic riding instructors, potential for part time or full time position. We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated, dedicated, compassionate and professional with capability of teaching beginner to advanced lessons to the special needs community. PATH Intl. certification or the pursuit of certification a plus. Must be available at least one weekend day.
