Sarah has been a part of the High Hopes team since 2009, first as an instructor then as Special Programs Manager, before taking over as Training and Education Director in July of 2019.
Sarah has an Associate’s Degree in Equine Studies from Johnson and Wales University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development from the University of Connecticut. She is an Advanced Level Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor, a Level 1 Carriage Driving Instructor, an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning, PATH, International Registered Level Evaluator, Mentor, and Site Visitor. Sarah has served as the Chair of the PATH International. Carriage Driving Committee and is currently the Chair of the Path International Oversight Committee.
Sarah was awarded the Ann Wright Instructor of the year in 2016 and the PATH Intl. Region 1 Credentialed Professional of the year in 2023.
