Adult yoga and healing with horses on Monday nights at High Hopes.
This session is for adults who have experienced anxiety, depression, loss, or trauma. We’ll do restorative yoga (no experience required) and mindfulness followed by unmounted equine work. The summer session is small group (up to 8) for adults who have experienced anxiety, depression, loss, or trauma. We’ll do 45 minutes of restorative yoga and mindfulness followed by 45 minutes of unmounted equine work. The focus is relaxation, reflection, breath work, mindfulness. Inviting all first responders, military, and their families to join us for a fun one-day event on April 21, from 11:30 am – 3:00 pm. Fun activities for everyone including Dog Yoga Class with police comfort dogs and Stef Corbeil from Tao Dog Yoga, trail walks, meet the High Hopes herd of horses, and crafting cards for the military with Blue Star Mothers! Spring is right around the corner, so what better way to celebrate than with an Open House Nature Day event at our property on Saturday, April 29th! Join us from 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. to enjoy mindful walks on our trails, meet our herd of horses, explore the habitat and birdwatch, participate in nature-based arts & crafts and even see a reptile/amphibian table! This event is in collaboration with Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, Friends of the Forest, Duck River Garden Club and Roger Tory Peterson Estuary Center.
