Lily graduated from D’Youville University in 2020; she is a licensed and certified occupational therapist, a life-long animal lover, and has been actively involved in the horse community since 2008. She discovered her love for occupational therapy through completing her girl scout gold award volunteering in a Hippotherapy program. Her passion for helping and connecting with people began as a child while volunteering with a Medical Day Program. Occupational therapy allows her to utilize her creativity, and improve the quality of life of individuals through sharing her love of nature and animals. She’s dreamed of owning a small business since high school and in 2021 started the process to opening her own private practice utilizing animal assisted therapy. In 2022 Freedom Reins Occupational Therapy, PLLC was opened in her hometown of Buffalo, NY. She discovered her love for teaching riding skills and wanted to practice at the highest industry standards, so she came to High Hopes in December to begin her CTRI and ESMHL journey. She’s looking forward to learning and growing as an instructor in training at High Hopes!
