Becoming A Volunteer

Volunteering at High Hopes is much more than a regular donation of time and service. It involves willingness to become part of a larger community.

If you are a current volunteer please fill out our Annual Update Form by clicking the arrow below.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the heart of High Hopes. Without their hard work and dedication, our mission — to bring the extraordinary benefits of therapeutic riding and equine activities to a wide range of individuals—would be no more than words on paper.

Steps to Becoming a Volunteer

High Hopes volunteers participate in all aspects of activity, and do so as individuals, members of work groups, families and participants in community service programs.

Volunteer Orientation & Training

We are committed to our volunteers to make sure they have the best training possible to manage their volunteer duties.  All volunteers must go through a volunteer general orientation with our staff which will cover all aspects of High Hopes to familiarize you with our mission, horses, riders, facility and programs. We want you to be comfortable with us as you join our family.

Volunteer Program Schedule

High Hopes operates on a 27-week academic year with a 9-week Summer Session.
